What is the Teen Advisory Council?

The Teen Advisory Council consists of youth in grades 9-12 from the City of Ft. Myers and was created to serve as advisors to the Youth Services Coalition.

Why should I join ?

• You CAN make a difference
• Have FUN
• Make new friends
• Receive Community Service Hours
• Interact with local Government Officials
• Attend Leadership Workshops
• Attend Team Building Activities
• Receive a letter of recommendation for college or future employment
   

What will I do?

• You will have a voice of change in your community.
• You will help Government Officials stay current with teen trends and hot topics.
• You will make suggestions, plan, implement and attend teen focused programs and events in your community.
• You WILL make a difference!

How do I join?

To become a candidate for the Teen Advisory Council (T.A.C.),  you must complete a T.A.C. application that will be reviewed by the Ft. Myers Youth Services Coalition. Candidates selected for the TAC will be extended an official invitation from the Ft Myers Youth Services Coalition. Please mail completed application to City of Ft Myers Recreation   PO Drawer 2217 Fort Myers, FL 33902.
